About Drift’s Edge Nature Conservancy

Built on Experience. Inspired by Place.

With over 75 years of combined expertise in land management, landscape design, and education, founders Dan Sullivan and Anne Gravel Sullivan offer a depth of insight shaped by decades of working with people and place. Located at the ecological crossroads of Wisconsin’s glaciated and unglaciated terrain, our site offers a rare opportunity to understand natural systems in motion. At the Drift’s Edge Nature Conservancy, restoration is more than a service or commitment—it’s an invitation to connect, learn deeply, and act boldly.

Nature’s Classroom, Grounded in Adventure

At Drift’s Edge Nature Conservancy, we invite you to learn by doing—through immersive, hands-on experiences that awaken curiosity and cultivate stewardship. Set on 96 acres of restored wetlands and woodlands in Southern Wisconsin, this land is a living classroom where ecological discovery and outdoor adventure go hand in hand. Whether identifying native plants, tracing hydrologic flows, or nurturing the return of wildlife, you will inevitably engage the natural world with purpose and wonder.

Custom Learning for Landowners and Changemakers

From first-time landowners and DIYers to conservation-minded organizations and community leaders, we offer practical, personalized guidance for restoring land to lasting health. The Conservancy’s programs are tailored to your goals — whether that means welcoming pollinators, improving soil, or reviving native habitat — free from product sales or industry agendas. We help you see what’s possible, then support you in making it real.
